Terri's Stained Glass

Terri's offers a variety of stained glass, mosaic and hot glass courses for beginners and more experienced artists. Courses are offered on a private, semi-private and group basis (up to 6 people) in our beautiful glass-walled studio. We can develop a flexible timetable to accommodate your busy schedule.

We also offer short "project" sessions for organizations like the Boy/Girl Scouts.

Stained Glass Class I 6 classes - $200 – Set your own schedule (Ages 12+)

Learn the Copper Foil Method of Stained Glass! No experience necessary. Taught one-on-one. Use of equipment and supplies for your first project are included. By the end of the program the student will have a clear understanding of how to make a completed work of art.

Stained Glass Class II 6 classes - $200 + equipment and supplies – Set your own schedule.

During this second phase of study, the student will complete a rectangular panel. Emphasis will be on staying within the perimeter of a window. Prerequisite is a beginning stained glass course.

Byzantine Mosaics I 6 classes - $190

Learn this ancient, beautiful art form. No experience necessary! This course will include information on the art form and instruction. Materials are included to complete a 16” x 20” project. Choose 1 of several designs or design your own piece. Let your creative instincts flourish and meet new friends!!

Hot Glass 1class - $65 - Schedule your own session or get a group of friends (Up to 4)

Create a beautiful fused glass picture frame for yourself or as a gift. You will learn to cut glass, assemble layers, and decorate your frame. Instructors will "fire" (fuse) your project together and attach an acrylic mount. Students can pick up completed project 1 week later. No experience necessary; all materials included

Stained Glass/Mosaic Liquifusion 6 classes - $190+ supplies

Students will make a serving tray using this advanced technique to encase your project in clear resin. People will think your art is floating under water. This gives a 3D effect and brings your creations to another level of accomplishment. Prerequisite: Stained Glass Class I.

Byzantine Mosaics II 6 classes - $180 + equipment and supplies

Emphasis on accuracy, color, and shading. Create your own design or choose from many patterns. Need 2 or more participants to form a class. Prerequisite is a beginning mosaic course.

Smalti Mosaics 6 classes - $180 + supplies (by weight)

Smalti is glass mosaic pieces hand-made in Venice, Italy. It's been used in mosaics for over 2000 years. Its intense color and fascinating texture will add richness to your art. Projects are approximately 10" x 10".

Mosaic Madness 1 class - $60 - Schedule your own session or get a group of friends (Up to 4)

Add a mosaic flower or butterfly to your garden or landscape. You choose the project. No need to water or feed these beauties! Project is 8-10 inches in diameter. Instructions and material given to grout at home if you desire. No experience necessary; all materials included

Mosaic Snowman or Holiday Tree 2 classes - $85

Create a 2 foot tall mosaic snowman or holiday tree to decorate your home. Instructions and material given to grout at home if you desire. No experience necessary; all materials included
